Should you choose not to register a credit card for payment, you will be required to pay via check or credit card for any of your commitments before you leave the event on October 29, 2022. Simply proceed to our convenient check-out station located outside of the ballroom.

Q. For what purpose does the Ball raise money?
A. Chicago Sinfonietta is a unique cultural treasure in the city of Chicago, changing the face of classical music with its innovative programming and incredible education programs. The Ball is the single most impactful event of the year for the Sinfonietta to raise much needed funds to support its important work. A little-known fact is that concert ticket sales during the season only cover approximately 25% of our overall expenses. It is the generosity of our supporters and people like you that enable the Sinfonietta to have such a profound impact.

Q. Will I receive a physical ticket after I’ve purchased my reservation?
A. No. Chicago Sinfonietta will have a registration table on the 2nd level outside of the cocktail reception. You will simply check in with your name and from there you will be given your table assignment and your parking will be validated. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive an email from Chicago Sinfonietta with the opportunity for you and your guests (where applicable) to pre-register for the event to make check-in as smooth and convenient as possible. Please contact Ruby Dudasik, a member of our staff if you do not receive this email. Ruby can be contacted by email at [email protected], or calling her on 312-284-1559.

Q. Will there be coat check?
A. The Chicago Sinfonietta will provide a complimentary coat check on the second level, near registration. Pickup will be near the Rouge Room - just follow the signs after the main event!

Q. Can you provide information about the After Party?
A. Directly after the close of the orchestral performance, Chicago Sinfonietta invites guests to stay for an after party in the Rouge Room featuring a live cabaret performance and live DJ with dancing. We hope everyone can join us!

Q. What do I do if I am coming to the Ball alone?
A. Chicago Sinfonietta hosts many individual guests at the Ball every year. We have a host/hostess committee that will welcome all guests, talk you through the evening, and introduce you to other guests attending that night. The committee members make sure everyone has an amazing time! Please look for Chicago Sinfonietta host/hostess committee members wearing a special identifier in keeping with the evening’s Tour de Mascarada décor.

Q. How can I support the event if I cannot attend?
A. If you are unable to attend the Ball, you can still support our organization by donating. Each donation supports Chicago Sinfonietta’s 35th anniversary season and its extensive education and outreach programs. A donation at any level is truly appreciated and makes a difference for our organization. Please visit chicagosinfonietta.org/2022ball/ or call Ruby Dudasik at 312.284.1559 to donate.
