In selections from Symphony Masala, North American Bollywood star “Juju” Palakurthi performs iconic Indian film songs from Don, Namak Halal, and Dil Se with orchestra, under the baton of Roger Kalia, a former Sinfonietta Freeman Fellow.
Add Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite and vibrant music from Taiwan, China, and India under the baton of Maestra Mei-Ann Chen, and you’ve got a night that’s more exciting than another one of scrolling and streaming.
